On June 11, 2025, at the 18th (2025) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition (SNEC) in Shanghai, Zhejiang CHINT SmartPower Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CHINT O&M”) officially released its 2024 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. As the company’s first ESG report, it marks a solid step forward in CHINT O&M’s sustainability strategy implementation.
The launch event was grandly held at CHINT’s booth (8.2H-E680), drawing wide attention from numerous clients, partners, and media outlets. Dr. Gu Hao, Executive Director of the ESG Committee Office of CHINT Group; Huang Haiyan, Chief Sustainability Officer of CHINT’s New Energy Ecosystem; Jin Jianbo, Chairman of CHINT Zhiwei; Ma Ye and Li Zhenming, Vice General Managers of CHINT Zhiwei, attended the event. Wang Quan, General Manager of CHINT New Energy Strategic Development Center, delivered a speech, and Wu Yunlai, Deputy Director of the Technical Quality Department of CHINT Zhiwei and Head of the ESG Task Force, gave a keynote presentation.

CHINT O&M continues to enhance its digital and intelligent capabilities, building a full-lifecycle smart O&M system for renewable energy assets.
In 2024, the company increased its R&D investment, focusing on intelligent applications in solar, wind, and energy storage projects. By integrating cloud computing and AI into its proprietary smart O&M cloud platform, CHINT O&M has developed data-driven solutions such as UAV inspections, intelligent cleaning systems, and expert diagnostics. The platform rolled out over 100 new features, launched 6 new algorithms, and filed for 12 software copyrights and 4 patents in 2024 alone.
In the integrated energy domain, CHINT O&M has made breakthroughs in power-to-hydrogen systems, PV-based hydrogen production, and energy storage control, leading to innovations such as photovoltaic-storage-charging carports, hybrid AC/DC microgrids, energy-carbon management platforms, and intelligent O&M for integrated energy systems—offering replicable models for low-carbon city transformation.
By the end of 2024, CHINT O&M had operated over 1,000 power stations worldwide, reaching a total O&M capacity of 24 GW, with 162 billion kWh in annual power generation. The company has helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 11.69 million tons, significantly enhancing both the environmental and economic value of renewable energy assets.

Labor dispute cases were zero, and the post-parental leave return rate reached 100%.
CHINT O&M also expanded its contribution to rural development through agrivoltaic, aquavoltaic, and desert PV projects, fostering local employment and sustainable growth.
